Maybelline’s Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation has been widely discussed and raved about, so I do wish I could have at least tested it out longer than my skin allowed. It was extremely affordable (I only paid $4 for it, believe it or not), and it started off with a nice finish upon first application. One other highlight for the foundation other than the low price is the consistency. The liquidity of the formula helped it feel lightweight, while still providing light to medium coverage. Because it isn’t thick like Revlon Colorstay, a little goes a long way. Like most thin foundations, it’s best to use either your fingers or a brush to apply the product instead of a beauty blender. FOUNDATION FOR DRY SKIN I am so impressed with how pale this shade is, and after the launch of the new Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 05 I’m hopeful Maybelline will introduce their paler shades in their other base product ranges as it’s very much needed. With 40 shades to choose from, there’s bound to be a shade which works for everyone and I hope other brands will follow Maybelline’s example to create a more inclusive shade range. Fit me makeup
