The L.A. Girl Pro Conceal Set includes a green corrector for redness, a yellow corrector to brighten under-eye circles, and an orange corrector to neutralize hyperpigmentation. Best redness reducing primer For an affordable drugstore primer, this E.l.f. one came highly recommended. For $7.99, it does a good job. But I wasn’t super blown away. I’d be interested to try a few others of theirs to see. This is definitely a putty and you have to scrape some out and then rub it on your skin. It did a decent job of keeping my makeup on but I wasn’t super impressed. Might be better for a non-SUPER oily person.

Primer is a cosmetic product that helps to create a smooth, even base for your makeup, and it’s applied as the first step in your makeup routine. Primers also help keep your makeup in place, and they can even prolong wear. The most popular kind of primer is face primer, but there are also specialized primers for foundation, lipstick, eyeshadow, and even mascara. Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment Thank you so much for this post! I really appreciate it and I’m checking out some of the other posts you’ve mentioned here as well. I’m pregnant with my third child, but have only really dove into makeup within the last 4 years or so, since my last child was born. Great information! Instead of me listing a million ingredients of a product, would you mind telling me of a color correcting primer (green for redness) specifically that is safe? I purchased Laura Geller Spackle Soothing today, but I’m open to others. I was checking out Smashbox Primers as well, but I don’t think I saw the color correcting primer on your safe list. Thank you again for your time and this info!

Anti redness primer

For skin that has yellow undertones or sallow tones, a lilac or lavender color corrector will help brighten any yellow spots. It's beneficial for fair to medium skin tones that want more of an illuminating appearance that hides any warmer or darker imperfections. You can also apply it as a spot treatment or in larger areas if you have more than a few spots. The best way to achieve coverage is by using the primer after your base makeup. At the same time, most color correctors are applied before concealer and foundation; adding the lilac or lavender primer after will give you an iridescent touch. Cannot recommend this lady enough!! Steph did 3 wedding makeups (including the bride) for 3 very different people and she nailed it. Nothing was too much trouble. If there was something we were unsure of, she worked on it until it was right. Such a lovely person and super professional. Was a real treat on the day and we look forward to seeing you again soon
